Julia Lafferty is a Cornish Artist who draws inspiration from the beautiful coastlines and the countryside around her home in the village of St. Merryn, near Padstow in Cornwall.

 Julia can often be found with her two dogs Sara and Luna along the coast paths and beaches taking photographs and sketching as inspiration for her paintings, capturing the changing seasons of Cornwall and the mood of the ocean.

Julia conveys the joy of Cornish explorations with her paintings, brightening up your walls with places you have been, or may wish to one day visit...

Julia's father was an artist, and from an early age he encouraged his daughter to pursue her passion. Now, a prolific artist, her paintings capturing the coast and countryside have been sold worldwide.

Julia undertakes private commissions as well as selling her art online and in a few Galleries.
